Nkem Owoh, the Nigerian actor, has lost Kosisochukwu, his 24-year-old daughter.

In a now-viral flier, the family of the ace film star announced the burial of his daughter.

Kosisochukwu was said to have died on June 28 after a brief illness.

In the flier, the family disclosed that the funeral would take place in Amagu village, Enugu state on August 24.

“The family of Nkem Owoh (Osuofiasn) of Umunevo Owonta of Umungwu clan in Amagu village, Udi town, Udi local government, Enugu State regrets to announce the death of our daughter,” it reads.

Fans of the movie star have taken to the comment section of the post to extend their condolences to the family.

Nkem Owoh is, however, yet to officially comment on the report.

In 1998, Nkem and Ngozi, his wife, got married. The union has been blessed with two daughters.

The 65-year-old actor concealed his daughters’ identities until he revealed them during an endorsement event.

The Enugu-born actor began his acting career in 1987 when he featured in the movie adaptation of Chinua Achebe’s book, ‘Things Fall Apart’, with Pete Edochie.

His rise in fame rests on his portrayal of the main character in the 2003 film ‘Osuofia in London,’ a performance that earned him the nickname ‘Osuofia’.
