Last week, the Grammy-winning entertainer released the pre-sale tickets for her 2024 world tour.

Ramat Victory, who appears to be a fan of the rapper, however, expressed disappointment that Nigeria was not included in the tour.

“Once again, African barbz bite dust. Oh well,” she wrote on X.

Responding to Victory’s post, Minaj urged her to sign Nigeria up on the tour website, hinting that it could make a difference in where she performs.

“Abeg sign up where it says “if you don’t see your city” so that when I get to Africa your city/country will be there,” the rapper said in pidgin English.

“Naija no dey carry last”.

In an interview with BBC, Victory described her chat with the rapper as “the best thing ever”.

The lady said she never expected Minaj to respond to her in pidgin English.

She said she hoped Minaj would come to Nigeria where the rapper is “very much loved”.

“It was the best thing ever. I cannot describe it, my head was in the sky, I never expected it,” Victory said.

“I spoke in Pidgin to see what she would do and she responded back in Pidgin. I was amazed.

“There is a big potential market for artists in Africa and when superstars do world tours and don’t include us, it is sad.

“I do hope she will come to Nigeria, where she is very much loved. I have loved her from day one.”

Davido, the Afrobeats star, featured the US rapper in a song titled ‘Holy Ground’ in 2020.

In 2021, the singer revealed he had never met Nicki Minaj despite their collaboration.
