Nengi, a former housemate of Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) reality TV show, says she refused to join the WhatsApp group created by her colleagues because she doesn’t like “wahala”.
The 22-year-old entrepreneur spoke at a chat session with some of her fans during a recent trip to Abuja.
She also revealed that she is the only housemate not on the WhatsApp group.
“About the housemate thing, I am friends with who I am friends with. I don’t like to force friendships. I think I am the only one that is not on the group chat. They approached me and I told them no I don’t want to be there,” she said.
“I don’t see the need to be pretending. I don’t like wahala. If I know that this energy is not good for me, let me just stay. For me its just like I’m friends with the few people, I’m friends with.”
Nengi, whose real name is Rebecca Hampson, recently featured alongside Richard Mofe-Damijo, an ace Nollywood actor, on the visuals of ‘Jowo’, a track from ‘A Better Time’, Davido’s latest album.
