Mohbad, the Marlian Music signee, has spoken against drug abuse — a few days after his ordeal with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

The singer was arrested on February 24, alongside Zinoleesky, another Marlian Music signee, and four others in a raid by the NDLEA.

Femi Babafemi, a spokesperson of the NDLEA, had said the musicians were arrested “after some quantities of Cannabis and Molly were recovered from their apartment and car.”

In a post on his Instagram story, the ‘Feel Good’ crooner urged his fans against dealing with drugs.

“Love and Light. Don’t do drugs,” he wrote.

His post comes a few days after Zinoleesky had also preached against the use of hard drugs.

“Hi everyone I want to thank my family and fans for their support following the incident that happened last week,” he had said.

“There was a distress call in which the NDLEA responded, unfortunately, the issue escalated but from now on, my team and I will be fully cooperative with the NDLEA so they can finish their investigations. Say no to drugs.”

A viral video of Mohbad had surfaced last week showing the singer asking the public to hold “Marlian Music and Naira Marley responsible if I am killed” amid the drug controversy.
