Natasha Akpoti, former Kogi governorship candidate, is set to tie the knot with Emmanuel Oritsejolomi Uduaghan, the Alema of Warri Kingdom in Delta state.
The politician announced the wedding date in a post via her Facebook page on Friday.
According to her, the wedding ceremony will take place on March 5, at Obeiba-Ihima in Okehi LGA of Kogi.
“This is us. Blended in culture… Blessed in love. For God makes all things beautiful in His time,” she wrote.
“Celebrate with us on Saturday the 5th day of March 2022. 10am prompt at plot 101 Dr. Jimoh Akpoti str. Obeiba-Ihima, Okehi LGA, Kogi state.
“His Royal Highness Chief Emmanuel Oritsejolomi Uduaghan, Alema of Warri Kingdom & Natasha H Akpoti.”
In 2019, the lawyer and entrepreneur contested for the Kogi gubernatorial election under the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
She, however, lost to Yahaya Bello of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
She also declared her interest to represent Kogi central at the Nigerian senate under the same platform in 2018.
Natasha is the founder of Builders Hub Impact Investment Program (BHIIP).
The politician has three children from her past relationship.
The monarch, on the other hand, is the cousin to Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan, former governor of Delta state.
