Deborah Okezie, the mother of the student of Deeper Life High School in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, who was said to have been assaulted, has alleged threats to her life.
TheCable Lifestyle earlier reported how Okezie claimed that her son was starved and molested by some senior students of the school after the principal had moved him to their dormitory for urinating on his bed.
She had also claimed that her son told her the senior students pushed their hands and legs into his anus and threatened to kill him if he reported to his parents or the principal, who was recently suspended over the case.
On Thursday, Okezie took to her Facebook page to share another video, saying Enobong Mbobo, the state’s commissioner for education, had invited her and her son for questioning on the instruction of the state government.
“Nigerians, I am not safe, if I am going now and they kill me, let people know what killed me. Any time you don’t see me come here live to update you, just know that they have collected my phone from me,” the mother claimed.
“We got a call saying we should come to the commissioner’s office. We told them the boy was not strong enough to come but they said the parents of the said boys, who were involved in whatever happened to my son, were there.
“We told them my son was taken to another hospital, they said we must bring him, but since we had to obey them because it was part of investigations as ordered by the governor, we pulled him out from the hospital.
“On getting to the commissioner’s office, Deeper Life School Board (members) were seated, the parents with their friends were seated and I was with my husband, my son, and my other children.”
The mother alleged that Enobong had taken sides with the parents of the accused while requesting that she pull down the now-viral videos she made online.
Okezie also claimed she was attacked and questioned on why she went on a live broadcast.
According to her, Enobong had claimed her outburst posed a risk to the commissioner’s office and the government.
“She was asking me; do I know what that has done to her office? Do I know that America is watching? She said why did I do what I did? That I am putting the government’s name at risk? I said how?” Okezie said.
“Everybody saw that the government said the case should be investigated, what is putting the government at risk here? She said I should take the video off the internet immediately.
“I told the commissioner that she could not intimidate me; even if she wanted me to take the video off the air, she could do it one on one. She said do I know what that video had done to her office? I said, is it a lie? What are we hiding?
“Already biased, she turned to my son and asked him what happened to him. He said they put fingers in his anus, then the woman started asking questions. I stood up and said no to this type of questioning.”
The mother, thereafter, alleged that her phone was seized as the commissioner grilled her son with pressurising questions she objected to.
Okezie claimed the parent of one of the boys, who allegedly molested her son, threatened to slap her while another attempted to beat her.
“They said I am putting the government at risk, I told them I have always been a social media person. They pushed me and my children out of their office, they insulted me till I came downstairs this afternoon,” Okezie added.
“Before I left, the commissioner told them she would take the remaining up, I told her to go ahead. Anything she wants to go and tell the governor, let her go and tell him but this is the truth.
“The commissioner pushed me out of her office; let her tell the governor that she asked me to get the video off the air. I am doing this video so the governor will know the truth.”
The mother also called on foreign bodies to come to her aid to avoid losing her life in her quest to get justice.

What is the matter with us in this country? We keep attracting negative media comments by our actions.
Why is the commissioner covering up? This is a faith based institution that should have high morals for its students. Let this matter be thoroughly investigated and nothing pretentious.
And do you know Nigeria’s are devilish and demonic that woman could be conspiring with another set of people to tanish the image of the school see is long time ago I gave of on fellow Nigerians they do anything for money from top to bottom we are wicked
Look at an issue recently in Ghana a wife convinced her doughtier when she was small to testify against the father that he molested her or raped her. The man spent about 20 to 25yrs in prison. Before the daughter confessed recently see human being we are wicked Nigeria is at it own extreme of wickedness false witness conspiracy just for money, he is urinating fine he was staved fine he was taken to seniors to monitor him what about molestation how even so there are other body pushing her to now use that to didtroy the image of that school investigate well is it not Nigeria
What are you saying. We are talking about a child whose live is being traumatized and you are here talking about conspiracy. What a shame. Such a biased comment. If it were your brother or son you will not say this. This can happen to anyone. We should be our brothers keepers. Do not just judge based on an incident that happened in Ghana. Do not be hasty to invalidate somebody story. You have brains, use it wisely and make sure your mouth is connected to it before you talk.
I wonder o! What’s is the hushh about molestation. I see a woman seeking chea popularity or on erand to tarnish the image of the school/church.
THE WOMAN WANTED TO COLLECT MONEY FROM DEEPER LIFE
The commissioner of Education, Akwa-Ibom state don’t know her duty well. She maybe sacked if she don’t take care.
Deeper Life should thread with caution because of the seriousness of this matter..
NOBODY SHOULD BELIEVED THIS WOMAN’S STORY, ASK HER WHAT EXACTLY SHE WANT OR LET HER TO GO TO COURT WITH ALL HER EVIDENCES AND WITHNESSES , LET HER STOP HER EVIL AGAINST THE SCHOOL AND THE CHURCH
This matter should be investigated carefully the little boy should be protected and shouldn’t be made an object of ridicule by questioning him openly in the presence of his alleged abusers. A lot is happening in the so called faith based schools that they cover up in this country. The only way to settle this matter is to get the truth out and let justice be done like chief Afe Babalola did in his school to the group of boys terrorising girls in his school with sex tapes. No cover up. Commissioner of education do your job well no cover up. Don’t spoil the name of your state by shaming the victim while protecting the accused.
“We will like to categorically restate that Deeper Life High School is built on the core values of godliness and excellence and will not tolerate any immoral act or molestation of any student,” the school wrote.
“We believe parents /guardians enroll their wards in our schools all over the country because of the strong perception that ours offers a sure-footed platform for moral armament and academic excellence.
“We want to assure the general public that investigations into the case have commenced and no culprit., whether staff or student, will be spared if found culpable at the end of the exercise.- DEEPER LIFE HIGH SCHOOL
“As an interim measure and to underscore the seriousness we attach to higher superintending values, the school principal has been suspended summarily even as further investigations continue.
“We firmly assure the discerning public that the overall outcome of the investigations will be made known.
“And appropriate disciplinary actions will be meted to all culprits in this unfortunate act that admittedly threatens to cast unnecessary aspersions on a unique institution that has been a shining example to all over the years.”
😭😭😭😭😭😫😰😰😫😭😭😭😭

Infact shame dey catch me for some ugly comments gaskiya.
Help me ask biko
Hmmmm shame unto some people of same nation where nothing works kaiiiii 😭😭😭😭😭
I feel disappointed when people come online and redicule themselves to please themselves and make comments that are insulting and embarrassing.
Pray your children will not experience such weather truth or lies haba. If this country were more civilized this issue should have been taken more seriously and swang into action but I’m shocked to see some ugly write ups here.
I feel the govt should even be more protective, guiding the said family, call the other families and the children involved for proper investigation in isolation abi proper words detention (guess they are young but not young to do evil if it’s true. )
I just feel sad that people can still think the way some of us are taking this matter
I don’t want to knw if the woman is telling the truth or not but there’s a cry for justice so it should be taken seriously with lots of attention.
I pray this works for the 1st time in a nation full of embrassing surprises 😭😭😭😭😭
I won’t even pray for my enemies (if I have any😰😫) to go thru such
Sometimes I wish I have the powers to change somethings with speed.
Shame on this nation.
