‘My injuries were due to assault, not allergies’ – Lil Frosh’s ex-lover opens up

Gift Camille, Lil Frosh‘s ex-girlfriend, has denied his claims that her “injuries were due to an allergic reaction rather than assault”.

In 2020, the singer faced allegations from Michael, Camille’s brother, who accused him of repeatedly assaulting his sister.

Michael shared photos of Camille’s badly bruised face, leading to Lil Frosh’s arrest and subsequent arraignment before a Yaba magistrate court.

Despite pleading not guilty, he was remanded in Ikoyi prison until he was granted bail.

In 2022, Camille withdrew her case against Lil Frosh following an out-of-court settlement.

Recently, Lil Frosh denied beating up his ex, alleging he was “framed and blackmailed”.

Responding to his claims, Camille took to social media to label him a “liar” and alleged that he attempted to reconcile with her under the guise of career revival.

She said she initially refused but eventually gave in because she felt sorry for him.

However, she claimed his behaviour worsened and he began to threaten her and her friends.

Camille said she later decided to end their relationship but Lil Frosh allegedly threatened to harm himself and spread lies about their reunion.

She also argued that her “injuries were not caused by allergies but by physical abuse”.

“Lil frosh is lying. Not only did he abuse me physically, he abused me verbally and emotionally,” she said.

“In 2021, while the case was still ongoing in court, Lil Frosh reached out to me with the statement ‘I need you back in my life. You are the only one that can help me get my career back because I have lost everything’ but I refused.

“So fast forward to October 2022, he reached out to me again, crying and begging for me to take him back but this time, the apology felt sincere. So out of pity, I agreed to get back into a relationship with my toxic ex with the hope that he has changed.

“A few months into the relationship, his old attitude started coming back. He started being aggressive, and this time around it became even worse! He started taking my friends’ contacts from my phone, calling them and threatening them.

“I got tired of the relationship and told him I wanted to leave. He started threatening to kill himself and threatening to post online that we got back together, with the wrong narrative that I forced myself back to him.

“I have never had an allergy. I had internal bleeding which was caused by the beating I received from Lil Frosh.”
