Mr Eazi, Afrobeats singer, says he will be launching three service provider platforms known as `emPawa Africa’ on July 19.

The Banku Music star, real name Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, took to his Twitter account to make the announcement to fans on Thursday.

“I said it, and I am doing it! Empawa Distribution, Empawa Publishing, Empawa Label Services all Launch JULY 19!!!! Jah be Praised,” he wrote.

In November last year, the gifted singer launched his emPawa project to uplift emerging African artistes by sponsoring their videos and music projects.

He said 100 upcoming artistes will be helped by the emPawa project for a start.

Speaking on the criteria for selecting artistes, Mr Eazi said: “All emerging artistes need to do is put up great content on Instagram with the hashtag #Empawa100. It can be a video of you rapping or a video of you singing.”

Mr Eazi also said that the “service provider” that should not be mistaken for Banku music, his record label.

He added that since its creation, emPawa has started a campaign to give $5,000 to 10 individuals/groups on his YouTube page.

The singer was recently nominated alongside Burna Boy and Teni for the 2019 edition of the BET awards.
