Moyo Lawal, the Nollywood actress, has finally broken the silence regarding a viral sex video involving her.
A footage went viral on social media on Saturday capturing an intimate moment between the actress and a man.
The video triggered a wave of mixed reactions among Nigerian movie lovers on X.
While some users argued that she might have shared the video, others claimed she is being blackmailed.

At about the same time when the video went viral, Lawal shared a picture of herself on a movie set on her Instagram page.
She, however, refused to reply to messages from her curious followers who demanded to hear what she had to say regarding the viral video.
But on Sunday, Lawal threatened to initiate legal action over the “unauthorised distribution” of the video on social media.
The actress said the video was filmed a “while ago” with her former fiance and “was never intended for public consumption”.
“A private video of mine from a while ago has been inappropriately shared without my consent, violating my privacy and trust. I want to emphasize that this video done with my ex I was to marry as at that time was never intended for public consumption, and its unauthorized distribution is a breach of my personal boundaries,” she wrote on Instagram.
“However this criminal breach of privacy will definitely be treated with legal action.
“It really hits me funny because I have always maintained a strict approach to my sexuality, even going as far as being celibate for a few years, refusing to date often and choosing to be alone most times. However, I am determined to not let this unfortunate incident break my spirit.
“I appreciate the support and understanding of those who have reached out to me during this challenging time. Please know that your kindness and goodwill means the world to me.”

Social media users earlier dug up an old video wherein the actress warned that nobody can use sex to “drag me down”.
Lawal said she has made many sacrifices and will not be intimidated.
“However, I made great so many sacrifices. I said no to so many things in my life. Even people who dated me and people who have tried to date me on this app will understand,” she said in the old video.
“They know how I am when it comes to sex matters. So the last thing you can use to try to drag me down is sex. Nah nah nah!”
