Chioma, Lammy, and Chima are the three final contestants of the ninth season of the Nigerian Idol, the talent hunt reality television show.
Mira Clear’s journey on the show ended on Sunday. Before her eviction, she performed ‘If You Ask Me’ by Omawumi, Beyoncé’s ‘Broken Hearted Girl’ and ‘End Of Time’; ‘Baby Riddim’ by Fave, and Sia’s ‘Unstoppable’.
Other renditions by the songstress include ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’ by Marvin Gaye, ‘Be Without You’ by Mary J Blige, Chidinma’s ‘Kedike’, and ‘No Woman No Cry’ by Tems.
Shortly after her elimination, the finalists – Chioma, Lammy, and Chima – thrilled the audience with their performances.
121Selah, the music group, also joined the trio on stage to add an extra layer of magic and harmony to their second round of performances.
Chioma gave captivating performances of ‘One Night Only’ by Jennifer Hudson and ‘Kuchi Kuchi’ by Jodie.
Lammy, on the other hand, wowed the audience with his rendition of ‘Hallelujah’ by Leonard Cohen and ‘African Queen’ by 2Baba.
Chima impressed the audience with his performances of ‘As’ by Stevie Wonder and ‘Not The Girl’ by Dare Art Alade.
The 2024 Nigerian Idol, hosted by IK Osakioduwa, premiered in April with 9ice, Omawumi, and Ric Hassani as judges.
