Jude Abaga, Nigerian rapper better known as MI, and Simisola ‘Simi’ Ogunleye, a singer-songwriter, have hinted fans of a possible music collaboration.
It all started on Friday after a Twitter user had enjoined MI to consider working with Simi on a love project, adding that it was about time the two music stars produced a song.
“Please @MI_Abaga it’s time to work with Simi on a love song,” the user wrote.
In what appeared to be his acknowledgement of the fan’s request, MI retweeted the post and mentioned Simi alongside a terse caption that read “it’s time.”

In what seemed to be an approval to the request, the ‘Duduke’ crooner retweeted Abaga’s post, pointing out the two of them indeed need do work on a project together after much online speculations.

The two music heavyweights have been pulling the strings in the country’s music industry with several beautiful projects. They also boast of a huge fan-base.
Simi had made headlines recently following the release of visuals for ‘Duduke’, her latest single, wherein she was seen flaunting pregnancy.
She also recently turned 32 with Adekunle Gold, her husband, celebrating her on social media.
