Dino Melaye, a former senator representing Kogi west, has paid a visit to the grave of Comfort Melaye, his late mother.
The former lawmaker took to his social media to share pictures of himself flanked by two other persons as they posed around the grave with the “Holy Bible” scribbled on it.
The photo was accompanied by a terse post wherein Melaye extolled his late mother, christening her as the best mother in the world.
“Best mama in the world. I love you,” he wrote on Instagram.
In May last year, Melaye had announced his mother’s demise. She passed away at the age of 70.
She was buried on July 13, 2019, at Melaye’s residence, Jesus’ street, Iluafon quarters, Ayetoro Gbede, Kogi.
The politician, who lost out his second term bid at the senate to Smart Adeyemi of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi west, has since been making the headlines outside politics.
TheCable Lifestyle had earlier reported how he starred alongside Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister of aviation, in ‘Silent Prejudice’, a Nollywood movie.
His lifestyle has also continued to leave opinions divided given his penchant for displaying his wealth on social media.
He recently left tongues wagging when he lamented his increasing bills while flaunting a luxury apartment believed to be outside the country.
