Ric Hassani, the singer, took to the comment section of one of Manuel’s recent posts to mourn the deceased.

“I am refusing to accept this all day. So heartbroken. Manuel,” he wrote.

“You were just at my place eating and playing just last week. I do not get all of this. I am so sorry, I do not even know how to process this. I truly do not, I do not even just know what to say.”

The cause of the singer’s death, however, is yet to be known.

Nevertheless, he left his mark with memorable performances, including renditions of songs like Cee Lo Green’s ‘Forget You’, ‘Mona Lisa’ by Lojay, and ‘Sexual Healing’ by Marvin Gay. He also performed as a duet with Gidion, a fellow contestant.

On December 8, 2023, Manuel released a colourful music video for his single ‘Photos’.

He shared a picture on his Instagram page on December 19, 2023, to mark his birthday.

In an accompanying caption, Manuel posted a hopeful message, expressing optimism for the future.
