Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones, stars of ‘Love is Blind’, the Netflix dating show, are set to divorce.
‘Love is Blind’, which premiered on Netflix in February 2020, follows about two dozen singles who date without ever seeing who they’re talking to.
McNeely and Jones featured on season two of the hit series and got along thereafter.
But according to TMZ, McNeely has filed for divorce from Jones at a court in Illinois in the United States.
The media outlet, quoting court documents, said the film star cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for her action.
The actress also said the pair have already agreed to a “global settlement” that addresses support and asset allocation issues.
The duo first announced their seperation in a joint statement in August.
“What’s going on, family. After much thought, we’re saddened to share that we have separated and will begin the process of divorcing. While we have love for each other, our lives are going in different directions, and that’s okay. Coming to this decision was far from easy and we will always wish each other the absolute best,” the statement reads.
“We hope you all will give us some space as we close this chapter of our lives. Thank you to our close friends and family for loving us both through our experience. To the Love Is Blind family and Netflix, thank you for this unforgettable opportunity and support.
“Each of you have brought overwhelming love and joy into our lives. This experience has taught us so much about ourselves, vulnerability and love. We don’t regret a single thing!”
