Omotunde Adebowale-David, Nigerian actress and on-air personality popularly known as Lolo 1, has lost her mother.

The radio presenter broke the news while mourning the deceased in a post via her Instagram page.

“Lord who am I to question your will but I know I can’t breathe right now. If love could keep you here with me, I loved you so much, maami,” she wrote in the caption of the photo of a candle burning in the dark.

Lolo started her career as a lawyer after being called to bar in 2000. She worked in the law department before quitting for media broadcasting in 2004.

The OAP is also known for acting in Yoruba and English movies. She featured in the popular series ‘Jenifa’s Diary’ where she played the role of Adaku.

She became an OAP when she joined Metro FM. She later joined Wazobia FM then left in 2019 after over 11 years with the media company.

The OAP featured on the cover page of ‘La Mode Magazine’ for the July 2017 edition.

In 2020, she produced her first movie titled ‘When Love is not Enough’. The movie was directed by Okiki Afolayan.
