Augustine Miles, Nigerian entertainer better known as Tekno, has made his music scene comeback with a new single ‘Agege’.
The song, which was released on Tuesday, features Zlatan Ibile, Nigerian street-music singer and rapper, and comes with a concatenation of indigenous beats and sounds.
‘Agege’ follows Tekno’s 2019 debut and sophomore singles ‘Up Tempo’ and ‘Women’.

The song comes on the back of the 26-year-old singer’s recent engagement with the Lagos state police for dancing with semi-nude ladies and smacking their butts in a gridlock along the Lekki/Ikoyi tollgate.
In a statement of apology, Tekno had revealed he was conveying the ladies to the next location for the shooting of his forthcoming music video.
“There was no reason for us to be dancing in a truck around Lekki. There was no music, no ventilation in the truck. We were shooting a music video, and we had a shortage of vehicles to convey people to the next location,” he had said.
The singer was reportedly arrested by the state police. He was taken to the state Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Panti, Yaba, where he was being questioned with respect to the incident.
However, in a new development, the singer’s manager refuted claims about his arrest, saying that he was only invited for questions.
