Master KG, the South African musician, has come through with ‘Laleyi’, his new single featuring Joeboy.
The ‘Jerusalema’ crooner announced the release of the track across all streaming platforms on Friday.
In ‘Laleyi’, KG blends Amapiano and Afrobeats sounds while the Nigerian adds flavour with his vocal dexterity.
“I want to do what you want tonight/ You want me as bad as I want you don’t lie/ I get plenty of very good vibes/ Anybody Wey no like am fit to move one side/ Oh na the way Wey you Dey do me/E dey sweet me like movie,” they sing.
Born Kgaogelo Moagi, Master KG has made a name for himself in the music industry with several hits to his credit.
He gained global popularity for his hit song ‘Jerusalema’.
Born Joseph Akinwale, Joeboy made his music incursion under the platform of ‘Empawa Africa’, a record label owned by Mr. Eazi, the singer who discovered him in 2017.
His genre of music is Afropop and R&B.
The singer has won several prestigious awards. In 2019, he won the ‘Best Artiste in African Pop’ prize at the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) and the ‘Best Pop’ at the Soundcity MVP Awards Festival in 2020.
