Korede Bello, Nigerian singer and songwriter, has dropped ‘Sun Momi (Only You),’ his much-awaited single.
The talented singer took to his social media page on Wednesday to announce the release of the song to his numerous fans.
“Sun Momi out now. Girl it’s only you.I wanna see in the morning. You know it’s only you . Wey I go buy that diamond for,” he wrote on Instagram.
In the less than three-minutes track, ‘Sun Momi’ — which in English means to come closer — sees the ‘African Princess’ crooner canvassing for more intimacy between him and the love of his life.
This comes months after he dropped the visuals for ‘Mr Vendor,’ another of his single released in April 2019.
Born on February 29, 1996, Bello has etched his name among lists of popular figures in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
The singer has continued to pull the strings in the industry since he inked a deal with Marvin Records, a record label owned by Don Jazzy, in 2014. He started to amass huge fanbase after dropping ‘Godwin,’ his hit single in January 2015.
In 2018, Bello revealed he was “still looking for tuition fees” when he secured a record deal with Mavin Records, describing it as the turning point of his life.
The singer dropped his debut album dubbed ‘Beloved’, in 2017 — three years after joining the record label — and had since won several awards including ‘Most Promising Music Act To Watch’.
