Davido‘s ‘Kante‘ is the only Nigerian song on King Charles III‘s exclusive playlist ‘King Music Room’.
On Monday, the British monarch shared the playlist, which consists of 17 songs across different musical genres, via Apple Music 1, in celebration of Commonwealth Day 2025.
Other songs on the list include ‘Love Me Again’ by RAYE, ‘Could You Be Loved’ by Bob Marley ft The Wailers, ‘Crazy in Love’ by Beyonce ft Jay Z and ‘The Loco-Motion’ by Kylie Minogue.
The king revealed that the playlist, personally curated and recorded at Buckingham Palace, features his favorite songs that bring him joy and reflect the profound impact of music on his life.

‘Kante’ is the 10th track off ‘Timeless’, Davido’s fourth studio album released in March 2023.
In the track, Davido enlisted the musical expertise of Fave, the Nigerian songstress.
