Tomi Favored Aleshinloye, the Nigerian-American gospel singer, has come through with a new single titled ‘Jesus Na You’.

In a statement released on Friday, the singer described the song as a “powerful expression of gratitude, hope, and unwavering faith in God”.

Tomi said the melody of the track “is a reminder about the reasons to trust in God and give thanks”.

“This heartfelt track embodies a powerful expression of gratitude, hope, and unwavering faith in God. It is an inspiring song that beautifully captures the essence of God’s unfailing love and faithfulness,” the statement reads in part.

“The powerful lyrics and soulful melody are crafted to uplift spirits and remind listeners of the endless reasons to trust and give thanks to the Almighty Creator.

“This track is a one-of-a-kind experience that will leave your heart longing for more.”

In ‘Jesus Na You’, Tomi sings about finding her way back to God after experiencing “broken promises tears and pain”.

“Jesus Na You/ Jesus Na You/ Ẹyin loba/ All I ever want is you/ Broken promises/ Tears and pain I have found/ When I turned away from you/,” she sings.

Tomi is a singer, songwriter, speaker, and worshiper who “passionately shares the message of Jesus Christ’s salvation”. She is happily married to saxophonist Seyi Alesh and the union is blessed with two children.

As a minister at RCCG Dominion Chapel Houston, under Bayo and Toun Fadugba, Tomi serves as part of the pastoral leadership team of the youth church ‘The Gathering’.

She has written over 100 songs and released seven albums including a spoken word project. She has also collaborated with other artistes for  more than 25 songs.

Some of her joint projects include ‘Awamaridi’ ‘Faithful’ featuring Nathaniel Bassey; ‘Passover (Tafi)’ and ‘He Fights for Me’ with TY Bello.
