Fahmili, a Nigerian pop music group, has released its second single entitled ‘Ife’ — not long after putting out ‘Smile’, its debut track.
The project, which comes with a tilt of the Yoruba language, was released on Tuesday, as part of what the three-man group dubbed their “Christmas package.”
The single was also distributed across major sales and digital distribution platforms on December 12.
According to the group, “Ife is our cue to open the love narrative for the coming season. In this song, we make a positive statement for the romance-weary. It is time to settle for a fulfilling love affair with a serious partner.”

“We have commenced meet-the-press visits in the Lagos area and we are thrilled with the warm reception we are getting.
“We are really grateful and inspired. From tens of hundreds of streams and comments, we have not had a single negative assessment of Smile from any quarters. We are elated.

“Our Christmas gift for all is so special to us; it was never going to be for sale. Enjoy Ife while you wait for our first ever and only free download at Christmas.”
Fahmili is a group of three teenage girls — Ayomide, Rokewe, and Terelayifa — who have set for themselves a goal to “become the most recognized music brand in Africa.”
