LISTEN: DaBaby remakes Burna Boy’s ‘Sittin’ on Top of the World’

DaBaby, the US rapper, has come through with a remake of ‘Sittin’ on Top of the World’, a song off ‘I Told Them’, Burna Boy’s seventh album.

The entertainer took to his social media page on Thursday to share the freestyle version of the song.

In the less than 3-minute footage, DaBaby is seen delivering his rap lines as the song plays in the background.

The video has been watched nearly 135,000 times since it was shared on Thursday.

‘Sittin’ on Top of the World’ has enjoyed a positive reception from music lovers since it was released in June.

Following the initial release, Burna Boy put out a remix featuring 21 Savage, the US rapper.

Barack Obama, the former president of the United States, also listed the hit song among his summer playlist for 2023.

‘I Told Them’ recently scored the top spot on the UK Officials Album Chart.

DaBaby is known for doing remakes of hit songs.

Eight months ago, the rapper put out a freestyle of ‘Last last’, another of Burna Boy’s hit songs.

In 2021, DaBaby also delivered a remake of Wizkid’s ‘Essence’.
