Burna Boy, the Grammy-winning megastar, has taken to the social media to brag about his wealth — a few hours after Wizkid made similar post.
Wizkid had earlier declared himself as “everybody’s daddy”.
“I can stop touching the mic today and y’all lil n*ggas still can’t touch the wealth! Even if you ask your dad and mom for help #moreloveLessEgo #EveryBody’sDaddy,” he wrote on social media.
“Also soon. I’ll open a class for u n*ggas to come learn how to get all you deserve with less work and smart business choices.
“Moving forward! Y’all address me as Sir or daddy before you mention my name! Ok babies!.”
Although he did not mention any name, there are speculations that he might be addressing his colleagues in the music industry.
In a post via his Instagram story, Burna Boy said he will only engage celebrities who have made $100 million since the dawn of the year.
“I can’t talk money with you if you haven’t made $100m this year. Just smoke brkfst and sit down,” he wrote.
His comment has continued to elicit intense reactions with some arguing it was a response to Wizkid’s post.
Burna Boy and Wizkid are among Nigeria’s biggest musicians in contemporary times, with their fans often divided over who is superior.
In July, Wizkid played down the perceived rivalry between them as well as Davido. He also declared that he has nothing but love for them
