Morris, brother to Chukwuka Monye, former presidential aspirant of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has claimed that Funke Akindele blocked him on Twitter.
On Tuesday, Akindele was officially unveiled as the running mate to Olajide ‘Jandor’ Adediran, governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos.
Morris had taken to the microblogging platform to state that the Jandor/Akindele ticket is not “sellable.”
“Lagos really needs an alternative. This Jandor thing is not sellable,” he had written.
A few hours after the tweet, Morris claimed that he was blocked on the microblogging service by the Nollywood actress.
He also accompanied the post with a screenshot which appeared to be his piece of evidence.

The tweet has also triggered a chorus of condemnation towards Jandor.
He is not a serious person at all, seeing him as APC planted person as they have done in the past. Who is Labour Party governorship aspirate @NgLabour you people are dulling us, why????

At all, the name doesn't sound intellectual. Ambode should join Labour party and see wonders. His name is still written in gold in Lagos state

Jandor is just noisy, no political value. Ambode ought to have left APC for another party to try and pull his weight considering how awful Sanwo Olu’s tenure has been so far.

Some I said time and time again.
Vivour-Rhodes Gbadebo was a better option.
Heck even Bankole Wellington ( Banky W) go sell pass Jandor.— Uzochukwu Agu (@uzo_agu) July 12, 2022
