The 2018 Lagos Fringe Festival will feature a lineup of fascinating plays which will be showing at various venues across the state.
Kenneth Uphopho, organiser of the festival, said the event was “inspired by the desire to provide a platform for network, showcase, empowerment and engagement for art makers”.
The plays that will be on display include August Meeting, Claustro, Cliché, Save Our Song & That Scoundrel Suberu, L’Otor The Devils Pilgrimage, Save Our Song, and Light Up Your World.
Others are Naija Saga, Home, Who Is Mad, Bad Women, CORA Book & Art Fair, Music Concert, Nollywood Scoundrels, A Parliament Of Vulture, Defiance, Drooping Palm, Goodnight Drama, and Rooliug.
The plays will be showcased at iconic venues such as Terra Kulture, Main Lagos Fringe Stage, Kongi’s Harvest Gallery, Freedom Park, British Council, The Ramp, British Council, among others.
Speaking on the plays available for viewing, Brenda Uphopho, festival producer, said: “The Lagos Fringe will be showcasing the best and brightest of talents Lagos has to offer, a week-long adventure of everything art and culture.
“We also made sure that we added a lot of exciting activities for kids so the whole family can partake of the festivities.”
Some of the other plays on the lineup include Under The Rainbow, Esther’s Revenge, Colour Me Pink, That Scoundrel, Suberu, Cloned Lives, August Meeting, HELP! and Bridezilla.
