Kim Kardashian, reality television star, was Monday morning, robbed at gunpoint by masked men wearing police armbands.
The ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ star who was staying at a luxury residence in Paris, lost a box containing jewelry worth up to €6 million (N2,119,257,000).
According to French police, a ring worth €4m (1,412,938,800) and mobile phones were also stolen by the robbers who escaped on bicycles.
The world famous reality star was flown out of France on Monday morning after giving a statement to police.
Kardashian’s publicist said she was “badly shaken” after being tied her up in the flat’s bathroom but however, noted that she was “physically unhurt”.
The robbers were said to have arrived at about 3am on Monday, handcuffed the building’s concierge and forced him to lead them to Kardashian’s temporary apartment.
“The haul amounts to several million euros, most of which is jewellery. We’re still trying to establish the exact amount stolen,” a police source was quoted to have said.
After being informed of the incident, Kanye West, her husband, ended his performance in an impromptu manner, at the Meadows music and arts festival at Citi Field, New York.

Before her robbery, Kardashian-West had shared on Instagram and Snapchat, the 15-carat Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring given to her by Kanye West.
The mother of two was in France for the Paris Fashion Week.
