American rapper, Kanye West, and his reality television star wife, Kim Kardashian, are expecting their third child through surrogacy.
According to US Weekly, the surrogate is three months gone.
Kim and Kanye have reportedly agreed to pay $45,000 in monthly instalments of $4,500, TMZ reports.
Kim is said to have a condition, placenta accreta, which makes another pregnancy life-threatening.
In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Kim revealed that due to her medical condition, her and Kanye have considered alternative options, rather than enduring another high-risk situation.
“I have so many siblings and I love it, they’re my best friends and I would love that for my kids,” she had said.
The baby is expected to arrive in January 2018.
Kim recently launched her cosmetic company, KKW Beauty, which made $14.4 million in the first few hours of its products being on sale.
According to Forbes, Kardashian earned $45.5 million last year alone — ranking 47th on the list of the 100 highest-earning celebrities.
