However, his management has not yet issued a statement regarding his health condition.
Khaid is signed under Neville Records, a music label owned by Sydney Talker, the skit-maker. He was unveiled by the comedian in January 2022.
Since the release of his hit single ‘With You’ in 2022, the singer is fast becoming one of the Nigerian musicians to be reckoned with.
He recently teamed up with Gyakie, the Ghanaian songstress, for a song titled ‘Run Away’.
He was nominated in the ‘Rookie of The Year’ category at the 2023 Headies.
Last year, the music star recounted how he worked as an automobile repairer before he joined Neville Records.
He said his encounter with Sydney “felt like God had answered my prayer”.
“I was about this life when I was in the street. I want people to see me this way. Thank God everybody is seeing me this way. Nobody believes I was once a mechanic,” he said.
“I was discovered on Instagram. I did a Chap freestyle. A couple of weeks later, I was at my workshop when I got a message from Sydney Talker.”
