Khafi Kareem, the former housemate of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) show, has celebrated Gedoni Ekpata, her husband, on his birthday.
The reality star took to Instagram to lavish her husband, who turned a year older on May 2, with romantic words.
Khafi appreciated Gedoni for the sacrifices he made for their family and “for loving me”.
She also described him as “my king” while promising to always love and cherish him.
The reality star said she is excited that Gedoni is the father of their kids.
The reality star accompanied the post with a video showing the moment her second son said his first word, “Dada” — which means daddy.
“And I truly am so happy I chose you to be the father of our children @malakaiandmikah. Thank you for challenging me, thank you for loving me, and even thank you for annoying me, you naughty boy,” she wrote.
“Today I celebrate you, I love on you, and I simply adore you. Thank you for every sacrifice you have made for our family and thank you for the love you give us every single day.
“You truly are a man to be reckoned with, and nothing you do will ever be in vain!! You are my King, and I cherish you, my love. Today and always.
“Here’s to more sweet nothings for the rest of our lives. Happy birthday, baby.”

The reality TV stars got married in December 2020.
In August 2021, Khafi welcomed Mircaleher, her first child with Gedoni who was her fellow BBNaija housemate in 2019.
They welcomed their second child in November last year.
