Kendrick Lamar, US rapper, will make his acting debut in the next episode of ‘Power’, a Starz original series.
The Grammy-winning rapper will play opposite rapper 50 Cent in an episode titled ‘Happy Birthday’.
The episode is scheduled to air on Sunday.
“Kendrick is a once in a generation talent and Courtney, 50 and I felt it would be exciting to create a role for him in ‘Power’,” said Mark Camton, executive producer.
“Everyone involved is thrilled to have him join the family.”

The crime drama, set in New York, was created by Courtney Kemp and is executive produced by Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson.
The ‘Humble’ singer recently received the Pulitzer Prize for his album ‘DAMN’.
Another 50 Cent project, ‘The Oath’, a Los Angeles-set crime drama, is returning for a second season following its debut in March.
