Bovi, the Nigerian comedian, has dismissed rumours that Julius Agwu, his colleague, is critically ill.
On Friday, the social media was awash with claims that the funnyman and actor has been battling an undisclosed ailment.
Some users had also claimed that his wife abandoned him due to the condition.
But in a Twitter post, Bovi, whose real name is Bovi Ugboma, asked the public to disregard such rumours.
The 42-year-old entertainer said he and Agwu, Basketmouth as well as Buchi were together at a club as of Wednesday night.
“Me, Julius Agwu, Save, Buchi and Basketmouth was in the club day before yesterday. Wednesday night to be precise. Two nights ago to be exact. Just saying,” he wrote.

But seemingly unsatisfied with his post, a Twitter user asked: “that what exactly?”
In his response, Bovi wrote: “he (Agwu) is not sick.”

Agwu started his acting career on stage in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state, where he grew up.
He has featured in numerous television series and movies such as ‘Torn’ (2013), ‘A Long Night’ (2014) and ‘After Count’ (2011).
His absence from social media has continued to leave fans worried about his well being.
The comedian’s last Instagram post was on September 30, 2020.
