Jennifer Igomu, a contestant of the Nigerian Idol talent hunt reality television show, has been evicted from the music contest.
Jennifer earlier made it to the top 10 but her time on the show ended on Sunday.
Before her eviction, the singer performed ‘I’ll Never Love This Way Again’ by Lady Gaga, and ‘Rise Up’ by Andra Day.
The 2024 edition, hosted by IK Osakioduwa, premiered in April with 9ice, Omawumi, and Ric Hassani as judges.
The nine remaining contestants are Chima, Gracia, Lammy, Stevie, Lady Ruth, David Garland, Maio, Mira Clear and Chioma.
Chima impressed the audience with his performance of Chike’s ‘Beautiful People’, while Chioma delivered a rendition of ‘In The Music’ by Omawumi.
David performed ‘Easy’ by Reekado Banks, Gracia delivered her soulful version of ‘Pata Pata’ by Miriam Makeba, while Lady Ruth showcased her vocal dexterity with Tems’ ‘Try Me’.
Lammy came through with Wizkid’s ‘Holla At Your Boy’, while Maio gave a captivating performance of ‘Nobody’ by Joeboy.
Mira Clear wowed the audience with her rendition of Chidinma’s ‘Kedike’, while Stevie came through with an electric performance of ‘Feel’ by Davido.
