In a recent interview with Teju Babyface, the comedian, Jaywon described Eedris as a “bully”.

He claimed that after a concert, Eedris sent his associates to attack him for stealing the spotlight.

He also alleged that the ace rapper threatened to harm the bus driver if he stopped driving while he was being beaten.

“A lot of people might know Eedris, but I know Eedris. I was on the same label with him. We were at Kennis Music together and we had a couple of issues,” he said.

“Eedris is a bully. Ask anybody who knows him. Eedris once attacked me with his boys. He attacked me on a bus after a show because he felt I stole his shine at the concert. They were kicking me. It was even in the news that I was in a coma. I tried to stand and they were kicking me down.

“When I finally got up, I confronted the driver. I was like, ‘How will something like this be going and you are still driving?’ Eedris threatened to kill the driver if he stopped driving.”

Under the music label, he released ‘Odun Yi (This Year)’, the hit single, which brought him into prominence.

The song fetched him several awards including ‘Best New Artiste’ gong at the Nigerian Music Video Awards in 2009.

He also received the ‘Best Recording’ award at the 2013 Headies and the Tush Awards.
