Jason Momoa and Eiza Gonzalez, the Hollywood stars, have reportedly broken up — about four months after they made their relationship public.
According to People, a source close to the couple who did not disclose the reason for their split said the estranged lovebirds were “just very different people”.
“They love each other very much having dated quietly for some time before it became public. They are in different life stages,” the source was quoted saying.
“They were hoping they might work it out and had been exclusively dating since February.”
In January, Momoa and Lisa Bonet, his ex-wife who is an actress, announced their divorce — after 16 years together.
The 42-year-old is best known for playing the titular superhero Aquaman in the DC Cinematic Universe.
Gonzalez, on the other hand, is known for her role as Monica Darling Castello in the action crime film ‘Baby Driver’ (2017).
She also played Nyssiana in the cyberpunk action film ‘Alita: Battle Angel’ (2019), Madam M in ‘Fast and Furious: Hobbs and Shaw’ (2019), and Maia Simmons in the sci-fi film ‘Godzilla vs Kong’ (2021).
The pair’s relationship became public in February — a few weeks after Momoa and Bonet officially ended their union.
Both are yet to speak on their “failed relationship” as of the time of this report.
