BNXN, the singer and songwriter, has publicly expressed his struggle to find love in Lagos, Nigeria’s bustling commercial capital.

The ‘Outside’ hitmaker voiced his frustration in a recent X post, simply writing: “To find love for Eko too hard for me o,” using the city’s popular local name.

The artiste, whose real name is Daniel Benson, did not provide further details around his statement.

However, his comment has resonated with many fans, sparking conversations about modern dating in the fast-paced metropolis.

This is not the first time BNXN has opened up about personal romantic turmoil.

In 2022, the singer was at the centre of a public controversy after a woman released a private video of him, claiming they were in a relationship and accusing him of abandonment.

At the time, a heartbroken BNXN took responsibility for the incident in a social media post.

“I’m incapable of loving anybody in this world asides Peggy. Before you step to me with whatever you think you got going on, know this. I fit dey follow you catch your cruise but you no reach,” he said.

“Na me just dey do rubbish. For the first time in my life, I’m heartbroken and me cause am.”

BNXN has continued to enjoy fame since establishing himself in the Nigerian music landscape.

He was nominated for the ‘Rookie of the Year’ category at The Headies 2019 and won the City People Entertainment Awards for the ‘Revelation of the Year’ category in 2020.

BNXN also clinched the ‘Next Rated’ category at The Headies 2022.

He delivered his debut album ‘Sincerely, Benson‘ in October 2023 and teamed up with Ruger for the joint EP ‘RnB‘ in 2024.
