BNXN, the Nigerian singer formerly known as Buju, has officially released his sophomore album titled ‘Captain’.

The 16-track project hit major streaming platforms in the early hours of Friday, marking a significant milestone in the singer’s evolving career.

‘Captain’ boasts an impressive lineup of featured artistes, showcasing BNXN’s industry clout and versatility.

The album includes collaborations with Seyi Vibez, Rema, Fola, Victony, and the Soweto Gospel Choir.

Songs on the project include: ‘I Alone’, ‘Set Up’, ‘Cutesy‘, ‘Jies’, ‘Very Soon’, ‘Eleyi’, ‘Captain’, ‘Yes Sir’, and ‘Laye Mi’.

Other tracks are ‘5hrs Till Nairobi’, ‘Phenomena’, ‘Fi Kan We Kan‘, ‘Totori’, ‘Ashimolowo’, ‘Cough Syrup’, and ‘In Jesus Name’.

With ‘Captain,’ BNXN solidifies his place as a leading voice in Afrobeats’ new generation, blending heartfelt lyrics with irresistible melodies.

Born Daniel Benson, the singer first gained mainstream attention with his 2019 breakout single ‘L’enu’. Since then, he has released two EPs: ‘Sorry I’m Late’ (2021) and ‘Bad Since ’97’ (2022)

BNXN delivered his debut album ‘Sincerely, Benson‘ in October 2023 and teamed up with Ruger for the joint EP ‘RnB‘ earlier this 2024.

His trophy cabinet includes the coveted ‘Next Rated’ award at The Headies 2022, cementing his status as one of Nigeria’s most promising talents.
