Portable, the controversial singer, has taken to social media to call for prayer, saying “I am in pain”.
Although he did not reveal the nature of his illness, the singer took to his Instagram story on Sunday to share videos of himself receiving treatment at home.
In the video, the ‘Zazoo Zeh’ hitmaker is seen receiving drip while expressing his desire “not to die young”.
“Pain all over my body somebody pray for me I don’t want to die young,” he wrote.
“We don’t regret we go hard you can’t be comfortable being you in the mist of people that don’t want you. Be you let the stress go and let the blessings flow. ZAzuu am coming stronger make una help me thank God.
“No panic I still dey feel pain am alive bobo no go die young.”
Fans and well-wishers have since flooded his comment sections with prayers and encouragement.
In January, Portable was hospitalised following the injuries he sustained after he was allegedly assaulted.
Two weeks ago, Portable was arrested by the Lagos state police command for allegedly failing to pay the debt he incurred after purchasing his G-Wagon from a car dealer.
He was said to have bought the vehicle worth N27 million but paid only N13 million.
Portable allegedly refused to pay the remaining N14 million and whenever the car dealer requested his money, he always claimed the vehicle was having issues.
The singer also jumped over a gate while attempting to evade arrest.
Portable was, however, released a day later after being granted bail.
