Situated in Ekiti state, the Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort is a geological wonder! It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nigeria providing great aesthetic pleasure and defining the innate beauty of nature‘s offerings.
The resort is believed to house the only confluence of warm and cold-water springs in the world. The warm and cold springs of Ikogosi flow to a point where they meet, with both springs maintaining their thermal properties.
The meeting point of the warm and cold springs is a unique attraction to tourists.
Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort is managed by Glocient Hospitality Limited, which is part of a diversified group of companies owned by entrepreneur Niyi John Olajide.
Olajide is also the founder of Cavista Nigeria, a technology hub in Lagos, and Axxees Group, a home healthcare technology company, headquartered in Dallas, Texas.
In a press briefing on Tuesday, Dele Odufuye, the executive director at Cavista Holdings, said the company’s primary focus is to “invest in the world’s most underserved regions”.
“We strive to bring together capital, expertise, and partnerships to unlock opportunities, create value, and transform lives,” he added.
“Our investment strategy is centered around promoting economic development, job creation, and improving communities around the world, especially in Nigeria. To this end, we have diversified our portfolio across various sectors, including agriculture, energy, hospitality, mining and technology to advance our mission.
“Today, we are active in Agriculture through Agbeyewa Farms, located in the heart of Ekiti State. We are in the hospitality business through Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort, Ekiti.”
Dele also disclosed that Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort recently won the ‘Best Holiday Resort in Nigeria’ at the just concluded Hotel Managers Conference held in Owerri, Imo.
Speaking on the award, Odufuye said, “it took a lot of efforts to transform the resort within a few months from its abandoned stage to what it has become today, enjoying healthy patronage from guests from within and outside the country”.
