IK Ogbonna, the Nigerian actor, has bagged an honorary doctorate degree in leadership and development from the ISTM University in Togo.
The model and actor took to his Instagram page on Tuesday to share pictures of himself adorned in a graduation gown.
The movie star could also be seen flaunting the certificate awarded to him by the institution.
Ogbonna appreciated the governing council of the varsity — the Institut Superieur de Technologies et de Management — for the honour.
In one of the photos, Hilda Dokubo and Keppy Ekpenyong, the ace Nollywood actors, were seen wearing similar graduation gowns.
“Introducing Dr (Hon) IKECHUKWU MITCHEL OGBONNA. Thanks to the governing council of INSTITUT SUPERIEUR DE TECHNOLOGIES ET DE MANAGEMENT (ISTM UNIVERSITY) for conferring on me Doctorate (Honorary) Degree of Arts in leadership and Development,” he wrote.

Ogbonna has established himself as a household name in Nollywood since his debut movie ‘Playing Safe’ in 2013.
The 38-year-old movie star has featured in hundreds of Nollywood movies such as ‘Ghana Must Go’, ‘Hire A Man’, and ‘Unroyal’, among others.
Dokubo and Ekpenyong also flaunted their certificates on Instagram.
