Samuel Perry, Nigerian comedian better known as Broda Shaggi, was nearly aborted before birth.
The comic actor shared a now-deleted Instagram story post showing his personal conversation with his mother.
In the post put out via his official handle on Friday and seen by TheCable Lifestyle, Shaggi’s mother was praying for him.
She also expressed gratitude to God that she didn’t go ahead with aborting the now-28-year-old comedian.
“You are forever favored by almighty God and it is permanent. My heart, my life, you are good to me and God will be good to you throughout your life,” she wrote.
“I’m glad whenever my heart picks your picture, I thank God that I did not abort you or listen to a shameful talk I faced in life, I really appreciate god.”
In his childhood, Shaggi had taken interest in acting, influenced by his late father who was a drama teacher.
He is a graduate of creative arts from the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
