The BBNaija evictee, who exited the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ house after a six-week run, spoke in an interview with TheCable Lifestyle.

Peace said she was in a relationship before coming for the show.

The entrepreneur, 26, added that she couldn’t date on the show because she wanted to “enjoy everyone”.

“Having someone outside the house had a great influence. I didn’t want to go into any ship in that house,” Peace said.

“I wanted to have a good time and I did have a good time where it was necessary but I didn’t want to be in any relationship, just wanted to stand on my own, regardless of whatever the case is.

“I didn’t want to limit myself to one person when I can enjoy every one.”

On the show’s impact, Peace said BBNaija is capable of influencing the minds of its viewers and affecting society.

She added that viewers can relate to how some of the housemates behaved in the show.

“There is a lot that makes our society, I don’t think the show is a reflection of our society, maybe just a tiny bit, but it definitely influences our society massively,” she said.

“People are watching this show back to back. People are invested more than you think.

“It is almost like you find this one person you can relate to and you’re living your reality in there. It is almost like you’re watching yourself. So it definitely influences our society massively.”
