Valentine’s Day has evolved into a global phenomenon, transcending borders and cultures to become a universal celebration of love.
On February 14, people from all walks of life, including Nigerian celebrities, took to social media to express their affection and appreciation for loved ones.
TheCable Lifestyle examines how some of Nigeria’s biggest stars marked Valentine’s Day 2025 on social media.
Adekunle Gold, the singer, shared a video of himself and his wife Simi. In the accompanying caption, he said, “Happy Valentine’s Day Obimo ”.
Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, shared stunning photos of her civil wedding with Juma Jux, the Tanzanian singer.
Obi Cubana, the Anambra-born business mogul, also posted a loved-up video of himself and Ebele Iyiegbu, his wife.
“I can’t imagine anything that two of us can’t do. Through the years, you never let me down. The sweetest days I’ve found, I found with you, you’ll be my FOREVER valentine,” he wrote on Instagram.
Idia Aisien, the actress, shared lovely photos of herself in bright red attire and a high ponytail.
