Lami Phillips, Nigerian soul singer, is now an artiste on Alterplate Music, record label owned by Harrysong, former Five Star Music artiste.
Harrysong announced the signing in a post on his Instagram page on Friday.
“Welcome to the family=Welcome on board Queen @lamiphillipsworld@alterplatemusic to the world,” he wrote.
In another post, he introduced Phillips as the first lady of Alterplate.
Lami Philips is a US-born singer and songwriter. She released her debut album, ‘Intuition’ in 2009 and an EP titled ‘Know’ in 2013.
“Knowing well that her music inclination, soul music, was not popular in Nigeria, she still decided it was worth the risk, drawing inspiration from the likes of Seal and Sade, who are Nigerians that have successfully taken their soul brands worldwide,” a bio on her website read.
