Penzaarville Africa, organisers of Handle It Africa conference, have announced that Japheth Omojuwa, Mercy Aigbe and other social media experts will be panelists at the inaugural edition of the event.
The conference, themed ‘Social Media: Language of Expression’, is scheduled to hold on March 31, at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island.
Handle It Africa will serve as a convergence point for individuals and organisations who use social media to develop their brand.
“The panelists will include Japheth Omojuwa, founder, Omojuwa.com; Mercy Aigbe-Gentry, Nollywood actress; Aliyu Giwa, deputy superintendent of police and assistant force PRO annex Lagos; Tosin Ajibade, founder, Olorisupergal.com; Osagie Alonge, editor-in-chief, PulseNG; and Olusola Amusan, CSR leader, Microsoft Nigeria,” a statement issued by the organisers read.
“Others are Sola Obagbemi, deputy chief operating officer, Red Media Africa; Otto Orondaam, founder Slum2School Africa; Dayo Israel, international development specialist; Temie Giwa Tubosun, CEO of LifeBank.”
Olufemi Oguntamu, CEO, Penzaarville Africa, said the panelists were chosen because they were key players from different industries.
“Being our inaugural edition, our goal is to ensure that we touch major aspects of social media and its use.
“This is why we have brought in key players from diverse industries including entertainment, digital media, governance, community Service and more, to share valuable knowledge on the role and impact of social media on their brand.
“The panelists will bring to bear their wealth of experience so we expect that participants will have a lot to learn.”
