Odumewu Debbie, a Nigerian dancer better known as Pinki Debbie, has broken the Guinness World Record for ‘longest dance by an individual’.

The 22-year-old performer stood strong as she beat the former record of 123 hours and 15 minutes which is approximately five days by India’s Kalamandalam Hemaletha in 2010.

The exhibitionist kicked off her mission at the Palms shopping mall, Lekki on Friday, November 17, 2017.

To break the record, she’d have to dance until Friday, November 24, 2017. She achieved this feat in the wee hours of Thursday morning, earning her title.

Debbie is a graduate of policy and strategic studies from Covenant University as well as a media influencer in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

She started dancing when she was six years old and says her mother is her biggest inspiration.
