Tope Olajengbesi, the Nigerian gospel singer, is set to hold the second edition of his concert in Ondo state on July 10.

The concert, which is themed the ‘Second Ondo Kingdom Special African Praise Rendition’, will take place at the Adeyemi Federal University of Education.

Olajengbesi described the concert as a means to “lift up the praises” to God through music.

The singer added that it would be an avenue for those seeking the face of God to “experience turnaround”.

“The Second Ondo Kingdom Special African Praise Rendition concert is another bonanza to give offering praise to God and people seeking God’s face to experience turnaround using the power and instrumentality of joy in the Holy Ghost,” he said.

“It is an avenue of joy as we lift up the praises of our God using the potent weapons of timeless and rich indigenous language sprinkled with sensational melodies and reverberating rhythm. There is no impossibility in the atmosphere of joy.”

The concert will also feature prominent names in the Nigerian gospel music industry.

Tope Olajengbesi, who has been in the industry for over two decades, is well known for his unique praise renditions.

Some of his hit songs include ‘Alanu Kan’, ‘Mantle of Fire’, ‘Supplication’, and ‘Iyanu’.
