Gaise Baba, the Nigerian gospel singer, is mourning the loss of his father Ezekiel Gbadebo Ibuoye.
In a recent Instagram post, the ‘No Turning Back’ hitmaker shared a picture of himself and his late dad, announcing that he passed away on Saturday. He appreciated God for the life his father lived.
He added that his father died “exactly seven months and seven days” after his mum Sarah Ibuoye passed away in April.
“On Saturday night, November 22, at 7:31 p.m., my father, Prince (Barr.) Ezekiel Gbadebo Ibuoye, Ààrẹ Apọ́nlésè of Okemesi Ekiti, went home to be with the Lord — exactly seven months and seven days after his wife, our mother, passed on,” he wrote.
“There is no guilt in life and no fear in death. Even in the pain of his physical departure, we yield to God, and in all things, we give him thanks.”
