Nollywood superstar actress Genevieve Nnaji is currently working on her first movie as a director.
Titled ‘LionHeart’, the movie features Nnaji, Pete Edochie, Steve Eboh, Kalu Ikeagwu and Jemima Osunde.
Nnaji had previously served as a producer on ‘Long Road to Yesterday’ but ‘Lionheart’ is the first time she will direct a movie.
‘Long Road to Yesterday’ did well in the cinemas and was also successful during awards season, picking up an Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards in 2016.
‘Lionheart’ is written by C.J Fiery Obasi while Ishaya Bako and Emil Garuba are responsible for the screenplay.
BAFTA award winner, Yinka Edward, is in charge of the flick’s cinematography.
‘Lion Heart’ is currently being shot in Enugu – although other locations could be used as shooting progresses.
