Gal Gadot, the Israeli actress best known for her role as Diana Prince, the Amazonian warrior in the ‘Wonder Woman’ films, has announced the birth of her fourth child.
The actress recently took to social media to share a picture of herself cradling her newborn daughter.
Gadot revealed she named her child Ori, which means “my light” in Hebrew.
“My sweet girl, welcome,” she wrote.
“The pregnancy was not easy, but we made it through. You have brought so much light into our lives, living up to your name, Ori. Our hearts are full of gratitude. Welcome to the house of girls… Daddy is pretty cool too.”
Jaron Varsano, Gadot’s husband, also shared the same photo on his Instagram. He thanked his wife for their bundle of joy.
This is the fourth child for Gadot and Varsano, who have been married since 2008.
The actress gave birth to her first child — a girl named Alma — in 2011 followed by Maya, her second daughter who was born in 2017.
In 2021, she announced the birth of her third child on Instagram.
Gadot first made her Hollywood debut in the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise in 2009.
But she shot to stardom as warrior Diana Prince, appearing first as a cameo in 2016’s ‘Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice’ and then in ‘Wonder Woman’ the following year.
The actress is set to star as the Evil Queen in an upcoming live-action remake of Disney’s animated classic ‘Snow White’.
The movie is due to be released theatrically next year.
