Is Funke Akindele-Bello pregnant? That has been the most-asked question on social media since the wee hours of Monday.
Pregnancy speculations about the Nollywood actress are not a rarity, but this time around, a video showing the protruding stomach of the Jenifa’s Diary star has given life to a discourse on the subject on social media.
The video, which was posted on Instagram, showed the 40-year-old actress speaking onstage at the Glo Lafta Fest event in Festac, Lagos.
Earlier in the year, fans had gotten excited over the news that the actress was pregnant, only for it to turn out to be false.
The actress who became famous for her role in television series ‘I Need to Know’ married singer/producer, Abdul Rasheed Bello, better known as JJC Skillz, in London in 2016.
Before then, Akindele was formerly married to Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede; the marriage was dissolved after a year due to what she described as “irreconcilable differences”.
The actress, known to keep her affairs private, once said it is more beneficial “to keep matters of the heart close to the heart”.
“I really don’t like discussing about my private life anymore because it pays to keep that part of your life secret. A lot of people are watching and sometimes you read a lot of negative comments about you which could make you want to derail,” she once said in an interview.
